Project Management, Dissemination and Communication
WP1 objectives are (i) planning, co-ordination of research activities, progress monitoring and dissemination of project financial and technical reports, and (ii) dissemination of the knowledge obtained in the project to scientific, business community and public sector.
Physicochemical characterization of materials, electrodes and cells
WP3 refers to the physicochemical characterization and analysis of the as-prepared materials (doped chromites and infiltrated structures) and cells (fresh and after testing).
Development of electrodes and cells by Flame Spray Pyrolysis
WP5 includes the development of cathode electrodes and complete cells, based on the materials of WP2, which will be done by alternative thin film development techniques (Flame Spray Pyrolysis, FSP). Typical anode electrodes (LSM, LSCF) will be deposited by screen printing in all cells to be prepared.
Synthesis of electrocatalysts
WP2 refers to the synthesis of materials, specifically doped chromites and infiltrated structures.
Development of electrodes and cells by conventional methods
WP4 includes the development of electrodes and complete cells, based on the materials of WP2, which will be done by applying conventional methods (screen printing, tape casting). Typical anode electrodes (LSM, LSCF) will be deposited by screen printing in all cells to be prepared.
Electrochemical characterization and performance evaluation of SOE cells
Within the framework of WP6, a complete electrochemical characterization and evaluation of the performance of cells in conditions of steam electrolysis and combined electrolysis of CO2 and H2O will be carried out.
